SPECIALTY PROGRAMS
In School Counseling Program:
This program is a joint effort of Hamilton Elementary School and Harford-Belair Mental
Health Center to provide preventative mental health services to children in the school who
are at risk of developing emotional disorders or impaired school performance.
Futures Program: This program
is designed to focus on those youths identified as being at risk for dropping out of
school. A staff member will provide mental health assessment, case management and
consultation at Northern High School. This program is sponsored by the Baltimore City
Office of Employment Development.
Intensive Group Therapy:
Provides intensive daily group treatment to promote the social, educational, intellectual
and psychological growth of the child. Active family participation is required.
Mobile Treatment Program:
This program is an in-home assertive community treatment service that provides quality
psychiatric care to children who have a serious mental disorder and are unable or
unwilling to come to a clinic for traditional outpatient services.
